Updates on StarWars.com
A new video feature on the Sound of Star Wars, a report on ILM's Hal Hickel a snapshot and classic moment. The usual suspects...
Jawatronic reports that the new video featurette is cool; specially the end where there are people trying to make the sound effects noises! Thanks Jawatronic.
The report on ILM animator Hal Hickel is interesting. He was responsible for the animation of the Destroyer Droids on Episode I.
NASA to exhibit Star Wars space crafts this month!
I just found this on Yahoo! news; it seems NASA is holding an Opne House 2000 at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. for FREE!
I says in the attractions and entertainment included that there will be "Spacecraft models: See detailed models of conceptual spacecraft designs, as well as the fanciful spaceships of Star Trek, Star Wars, and other popular science fiction shows, courtesy of the Huntsville Plastic Modelers Society."
There are a lot of other cool things such as full-size space shuttle parts, a new advanced space transportation concept that accelerates a model spacecraft from 0-60 mph in less than half of a second, a real International Space Station under construction, among other things!

Are you in Austin, TX?
The SciFiExpo is at Austin, TX right now (and tomorrow!). Get over there!
Why?
Because Shannon Baksa (Mara Jade), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), Aaron Allston (X-Wing Series), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Phil Brown (Uncle Owen), and Mercedes Ngoh (Rystall) will all be there. VIP admission ($10 at the door) entitles you to a free autograph of Shannon Baksa on an item you provide.
Cool!
