Greg Bear's Star Wars: Rogue Planet figured in the May 7th USA Today bestsellers list and the May 15th Publisher's Weekly bestsellers list. It was 21st on USA Today's list and 4th on the Publisher's Weekly.

Jedi Apprentice #8 should be appearing in stores about now. TheForce.net reports that it is already appearing in Canada. So what's the newest installment by Jude Watson, called Jedi Apprentice#8: The Day of Recknoning about?

Well, it seems Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan find themselves in a bit of trouble... again. I wonder when they get time to train. Qui-Gon Jinn's evil former apprentice (no, not Anakin; not just yet), Xanatos, has set a trap for his old Master. He has lured Qui-Gon and young Obi-Wan Kenobi to his home planet of Telos and has framed them for a crime they did not commit.

These Jedis seem easy to lure to weird planets. So, to cut a long story short; their life is in danger, the entire planet is crying for their blood (no, not literally; that would be Star Trek! Just kidding). And they are running out of time.

I pity poor Xanatos. Picked the wrong enemies...
